John William Strosnider

John William Strosnider 66, of Vienna, W.Va. passed away June 10, 2014 at the Holzer Center, Gallipolis, Ohio.He was born December 27, 1947 in Waynesburg, Pa., a son of the late Alfred “Red” H. and Etta Louise Spittnogle Strosnider.John was a Psychiatric Social Worker for Dr. Sams and worked at St. Joseph's Hospital for 20 years. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War, was a member of the Masons and the Eastern Star. He enjoyed skiing, traveling and biking.He is survived by his wife, Susan K. Kennedy Strosnider; one daughter, Erin Bolen (Michael) of Parkersburg, W.Va.; one son, John W. Strosnider II (Angela) of Parkersburg, W.Va.; one grandchild, Lynsay Strosnider and one brother, Charles Strosnider (Candance) of Maryland.A memorial service will be held Monday, June, 16,2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna, W.Va., with Pastor Don Yeager officiating.
