John Marshall Robert

John Marshall Robert, 76, of Washington, WV, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2017 at Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born April 26, 1941, in Tioga, LA, son of the late John and Doris Torry Robert. John retired from DuPont as a Product Quality Engineer after more than 30 years of service. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Physics at Louisiana Tech University and his PhD in Mathematics and Physics at Louisiana State University. He enjoyed building computers, reading and was an avid history buff. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Teri Fulton Robert; two sons, John Emry (Becky) Robert of Bethel Park, PA and Marshall Brooks (Barbara) Robert of Carrollton, TX; one sister, Frances Hurst (Jim) of Alexandria, LA; a proud grandfather of nine grandchildren, Logan, Alexandra, Ezekiel, Morgan, Saundra, Sarah, John Jeffrey, Isaac and Jeremiah; and his nephew, Ben Hurst. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his niece, Ami Hurst. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 22, 2017 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., south Parkersburg.
