John Camden Malcomb, 74, of St. Marys, WV passed away Thursday, February 24, 2011 at the Camden Clark Memorial Hospital.He was born November 29, 1936 in Sutton, WV, a son of the late Marvin and Ercil I. Lake Malcomb. John was an US Army Veteran and retired from Eureka Pipeline-Pennzoil where he was an electrician. He enjoyed spending time with friends hunting and fishing. Surviving is his wife, Barbara Russell Malcomb of St. Marys, WV; a son, David Malcomb of Parkersburg, WV and other children, Barbara, Gary, Connie and Steve all of New York; one brother, David Malcomb and wife Vivian of New York; two sisters, Martha Geneva Morrison of Appleton, NY and Emogean Knight of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; and three sisters-in-law, Jean Malcomb of Orange Port, NY, Martha Lewis and husband Louie of St. Marys and Linda Thompson of Boaz, WV.In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Malcomb; one sister, Janey Hanline; and three brothers-in-law, Kenny Hanline, Delbert Knight and Charles Morrison.Memorial services will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 5, 2011 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna with Pastor David Johnson officiating. Visitation will be from noon until time of services Saturday at the funeral home. Private family interment at Pleasant Memorial Estates Cemetery will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
