John Millard Hunt

John Millard Hunt, 83, of Parkersburg, passed away March 24, 2025 at WVU Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born May 3, 1941 in Parkersburg, a son of the late Corley S. and Irene Miller Hunt.

He worked as a utility inspector for the Department of Highways, and attended the Peoples Apostolic Church when he was able. He enjoyed deer hunting and fishing occasionally with his son.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Barbara S. Holbert Hunt; one son, Jeremy Hunt; a brother, Russell Hunt; and two grandsons.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Donna Jean Buckalew.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 27, 2025 at Lambert Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St. South Parkersburg with Steve Joy and Mike Seebaugh officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen South Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
