John A. Crouser, 91, of St. Mary’s, WV, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2020 at his residence. He was born September 10, 1928, in Marion County, WV, a son of the late Hoy Quentin and Pearl Artola Michaels Crouser. John worked in the coal mines for many years and then went to work at Ravenswood Kaiser Aluminum where he retired after 30 years in 1988. He loved working outdoors and had horses almost all his life. John was never without something to keep him busy. He is survived by his brother, Clyde Crouser (Dixie) of South Carolina; his children, Janice Marie Robinson of Ravenswood, Connie S. McCoy (Hollie) of St. Mary’s, Jeff Crouser (Rebecca) of Dover, DE, Jim Crouser (Holly) of North Carolina and Lisa Elliott of Vienna, WV; his very special granddaughter, Lori Bradley of Ravenswood who was always there for him; best friends who he dearly loved, Barbara St. Josephs, Bub and Cindy Nichols and Cindy Riggs; and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his sister, Artolla Coffman; his son, Christopher Crouser; his grandsons, Bryan “Scottie” McCoy, Austin Allendar; and his son in-law, Jimmy Robinson. At the family’s request there will be no services or visitation. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg is assisting the family at this time.
