John Charles Booth,

John Charles “Charlie” Booth, Jr. age 95, of Davisville, WV passed away Sunday, September 16, 2018 at the Milestone Senior Living in Parkersburg. He was born February 23, 1923 in Rockland, Ohio, a son of the late John C. Booth Sr. and Thelma Hawk Booth. Charlie was a US Navy Veteran and retired as an insurance adjuster supervisor with over 35 years of service. He enjoyed furniture refinishing, small engine repair and spending time with his son. Charlie was a 32nd Degree Mason with the Vienna Lodge #172. He is survived by his son, John C. Booth, III (Linda); three grandchildren, Allan Farrah (Lynn), Sam Farrah (Kelly), and Hunter Booth; and two great-grandchildren, Sydney and Hannah Pettit. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Luretta L. Trippet Booth and grandson, Darin L. Booth. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 20, 2018 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., south Parkersburg. Interment will follow at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery with Masonic Rites. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
