John Beckett

John Beckett, 84, of Parkersburg passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at the Willows Center. He was born November 15, 1936 in Ona, WV, a son of the late Garnet Clark Beckett. He enjoyed traveling by train and on foot and was extremely dedicated to his brother, Gerald, who passed away September 2, 2017. He enjoyed spending time with the Shedd family. John is survived by the Shedd family, Stephen and Heather Feathers Shedd and their children, Stephanie, Olivia and Tyler Shedd all of Washington, WV. Private family services will be held 4:00 pm Monday, April 5, 2021 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Green St., Parkersburg. Interment will be at the St. Frances Xavier Catholic Cemetery, Parkersburg. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home is honored to serve the Beckett family.
