Joanne Marie Leitholf

Joanne Marie Leitholf, 89, of Mineral Wells, formerly of Renfrew, PA., passed away January 9, 2025 at WVU Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born May 29, 1935 in Pittsburgh, PA, a daughter to the late John and Marcella Marr Hanlon.

She was retired from the United States Postal Inspection Service. She was Catholic by faith and enjoyed spending her time with her family. She was known for her huge heart and the gift of giving to others.

Left to cherish her memory include her children, Victoria Nutter of Waverly; Kathleen Morris (Bill) of Washington, NC ; Christopher Paul of Parkersburg; Cynthia Whytsell (Harold) of Mineral Wells, and Barbara Strobel (Jack) of New Castle, PA;  four sisters, twin sister Jeanne Barto of Baden, PA, Doris Kenny (Bernard) of Hershey, PA, Carole Mussig (Julian) and Ruth Hanlon all of Zelienople, PA; several grandchildren and great- grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; adopted grandchildren, and her beloved dog, Josie.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Norman Leitholf; and a son-in-law, Lee Nutter.

A private service will be held at a later date, at the convenience of the family.

Lambert Tatman Funeral Home, south Parkersburg, has been entrusted with Joanne’s final wishes and is honored to serve her family.
