Joan Louise Hunt

Joan Louise Martin Hunt, 68 of Parkersburg passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Eagle Pointe Nursing Facility. She was born May 22, 1949 in Murphy, NC a daughter of Gladys Fleetice Coon Martin and the late James Hilliard Martin. She was a graduate of Murphy High School and worked in Food Preparation in nursing homes and enjoyed reading. In addition to her mother, Joan is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Moore of Haw River, NC and Jessica Cash of Arlington, TX; a son, Jackie (Bea) Campbell of Lubbock, TX; a brother, Jerry Martin; grandchildren, Kimberly Lynn Miller Lopez, Kasey Lee Moore, Manny Lopez, Tiffany Nikkie Banbee, Courtney Cash, Whitney Cash, Hugh Campbell, Cory Harrison, Shandin Campbell, Selena Stanley, Iris Campbell, Caitlyn Stanley and Tyree Campbell and great-grandchildren, Khai Gray Sandoval, Autumn Leigh Lopez, Anthony James Lopez, Lily Lynn Lopez, Vanessa Ann Lopez, Kamden Lee Moore, Abby and James Harrison, Briseis Romero, Aniyah Prieto and Audi Campbell. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Martin; and a granddaughter, Kathleen Leigh Miller-Neumeister. There will be no services at this time.
