Jo Ann Keller

Jo Ann Keller, 86 of Parkersburg, WV passed away Thursday, June 20, 2024 at the Willows Center.
She was born January 11, 1938 in Parkersburg a daughter of the late James Joseph and Edith E. Gorman Armour. Jo Ann was a graduate of Parkersburg High School where she played softball. She played softball throughout the state and was named state softball player of the year. She enjoyed sports and watching the Mountaineers. Jo Ann was a member of the First Baptist Church in Parkersburg.
She is survived by her two siblings, Donna Kay Thorn and William E. “Billy” Armour and three nieces and one nephew, Debbie Lambert (Brad), Brenda Armour Hickman, Stacey Simonton Street (Scott) and Scott Simonton (Penney).
In addition to her parents, Jo Ann was preceded in death by her brother, Robert L. Armour.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Parkersburg with Pastor Don Yeager officiating.
The family would like to thank The Willows and Amedisys Hospice for all the love and care given to Jo Ann.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society, 530 29th Street, Parkersburg, WV 26101, in memory of Jo Ann.
