Jess Wayne Blair

Jess Wayne Blair, 72, of Mineral Wells, WV, went home to be with the Lord on June 10, 2020. He was born August 24, 1947, in Parkersburg, a son of the late Denver and Geraldine Ferrell Blair. Jess retired from I.B.E.W. Local Union 968. Jess enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved to travel. He attended Vienna Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of almost 49 years, Barbara Blair; his son, Jess Blair II (Stephanie) of Mineral Wells; his daughter, Melissa Tomlinson (Bill) of Mineral Wells; brother, John Blair; sister, Gina Hill; along with six grandsons and one granddaughter. In addition to his parents, Jess was preceded in death by one brother, Jim Blair. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Monday, June 15, 2020 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg with Pastor Bill Brown officiating. Burial following at Evergreen South Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-5 pm Sunday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the services on Monday.
