Jerry L. Williams

Jerry L. Williams age 72 of Vienna, WV passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2018. He was born November 25, 1945 in Boone County, WV, a son of the late Roy and Lola Harless Williams. Jerry was a 1963 graduate of Scott High School and a graduate of Parkersburg Community College. He was a US Air Force Veteran having served in Vietnam and a life member of the Madison VFW Post 5578. Jerry retired with over 35 years of service from Johns Manville Company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards with his family and friends and visiting their farm. Surviving is his wife of 49 years, Ramona “Sue” Young Williams; his two children, Terry Williams (Rachel) of Charlotte, NC and Beth Moore (Dean Brannon) of Vienna; two brothers, Larry Williams (Janet) of Foster, WV and Roger Williams (Betty) of Wichita, KS; one sister, Ruth Ann Williams of St. Albans, WV; three grandchildren, Trent Williams, Kyle Moore, and Reagan Williams; several nieces and nephews and lots of close friends. In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his sister, Carol Garretson. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 23, 2018 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna. Entombment will follow at the Sunset Memory Gardens Mausoleum with Military Rites by Madison Post 5578. Visitation will be from 1-4 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
