Jerry Kerby

Jerry Kerby, 72, of Parkersburg, went home to be with the Lord on May 27, 2017, after a short illness. She was born on May 9, 1945, in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late Fred and Geraldine Starcher Sturm. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Geneva Hall. Jerry was a homemaker and a devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by her life partner of 40 years, Gary McCoy; six children, Tammy, Holly, Hope, Heather, Fred, and Stacey; and four grandchildren. Jerry's family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Eagle Pointe who took such great care of her during her last days. The love and caring of the staff members at the center was heart- warming. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at the Cremo Community Church in Calhoun County, WV. Burial will follow in the Wright Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., south Parkersburg, and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
