Jerry Richard Greenleaf

Jerry Richard Greenleaf, 75, of Parkersburg, went home to be with his Lord on May 3, 2017. He was born August 27, 1941, in Parkersburg, a son of the late Wilburn R. and Golda Thornton Greenleaf. Jerry was an U.S. Army veteran and was retired from Elkem Metals. He was an artist and enjoyed drawing and riding his motorcycle. Jerry and his family attended The Rock Family Worship Center, Parkersburg. He is survived by his wife of fifty one years, Janice C. Deem Greenleaf; his sons, Bradley Wayne Greenleaf of Leitchfield, KY., Chad Stephen Greenleaf of Vienna and Joseph Todd Greenleaf (Mara) of Parkersburg; his daughters, Shauna Sue Greenleaf and Rebekah Dawn Greenleaf Cohen (James) both of Parkersburg; 19 grandchildren, Dr. Krysta Noelle Greenleaf, Asia-Bryanne Caroline Greenleaf (Robbie Wright), Chaz Greenleaf, Kierra Bridges (Khristian Pettry), Tiara Marissa Davis, Chandler Rashawn Greenleaf, Channing Roman Greenleaf, Mia Ebony Greenleaf, Yasmene Grace Greenleaf, Jazmine Hope Greenleaf, Zane Joseph Greenleaf, Jayden Sherice Greenleaf, Olivia Gabrielle Cohen, Elijah James Richard Cohen, Isaiah Reilly Cohen, Nehemiah Jacob Cohen, Trey Hetrick, Elijah Hetrick, and Adam Hetrick; two great-grandchildren, Aniya and Lyric Pettry; his brother in-law, Richard Deem (Marcia) of Montgomery, AL; his sister in-law, Sue Meadows (Wayne) of Mineral Wells, WV; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, JoAnn Towne; and a grandson, Chace Reilly Greenleaf. Funeral services will be held 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., south Parkersburg with Pastor Richard Deem officiating. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Rock Family Worship Center, 1305 37th St. Parkersburg, WV 26104, in memory of Jerry.
