Jerry Lee Dowler

Jerry Lee Dowler, 59, of Parkersburg passed away Jan. 22, 2011 at his residence. He was born May 14, 1951 in Wood County, the son of the late Clifford and Alice Trimble Dowler.Jerry was a 1969 graduate of Parkersburg South High School. He was a member of Pipefitter Union 565 and currently worked at Alpharma Corp. as a designer for the Maintenance Dept. He was a veteran of the US Navy, was a member of the American Legion Post 15 and Masonic Lodge #3. He enjoyed computers, pets and playing guitar. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Sims Dowler; his son, Shawn P. Dowler of Parkersburg; and two sisters, Laura Witmer of Damascus, MD, and Barbara Crystal of Clayton, NC. Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family. Entombment will be in the Sunset Memory Gardens Mausoleum with Masonic rites. In honoring Jerry's wishes there will be no visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home 400 Green St. Parkersburg.
