Jennings G. Nutter

Jennings Guy “Pappy” Nutter, 95, of Parkersburg, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2017 at Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born October 28, 1921, in Leatherbark, WV, a son of the late Dallas Dennis Nutter and Retta Ash Nutter. Jennings enjoyed farming and listening to bluegrass and country music. He is survived by one sister, Goldia M. Kelley; a niece, Karen Kelley Boothe (James); a nephew, Randall E. Snider; great-nephews and great-niece, Michael Boothe, Bob Boothe (Lori), Christine Boothe Ologeanu (Ben) and R.J. Snider; and seven great-great-nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Jennings was preceded in death by two brothers, Delbert Deane Nutter and Claymond Dennis Nutter; and one sister, Eula Nutter Snider (Everett). Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., South Parkersburg with Pastor Lance Hitt officiating. Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
