Jeanne Jay Milligan

Jeanne J. Milligan, 72 of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away June 27, 2017 at the Willows Center. She was born March 28, 1945 in Wood County, W.Va., daughter of the late Russell and Olive Cornell. She was a graduate of Parkersburg Catholic High School. She worked as a caregiver at ResCare, and worked in foster care helping to raise Dave Spence, Eddie Patterson and Tony. She previously worked at Nashua Photo and also drove taxi. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Milligan; one daughter, Susan Milligan of Parkersburg; sister, Sandra Helmick of Parkersburg; a brother, Dwayne Owens of California; a niece, Donna Helmick of Parkersburg; and several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Sharon Hendricks and Agnes Patterson. Graveside services will be 11 a.m., July 7, 2017 at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Wood County. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home is assisting the family with the service.
