Jeanie S. Morris, 75, of Parkersburg, W.Va., passed away on October 16, 2016 at Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg. She was born July 13, 1941, in Columbus, Ohio, a daughter of the late William and Maude Shultz. She was a school teacher for twenty years in Monroe County Florida and Wood County, W.Va. as a Special Education teacher. She lived in the Florida Keys for thirty years and Parkersburg the last six years. She attended Parkersburg and Florida Keys Community Colleges, Florida International University and received her Master's Degree at University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. Jeanie enjoyed playing tennis, boating and the beach in Florida and was a member of the democratic party. She is survived by her two daughters, Misty Morris of Parkersburg and Lisa Morris of Big Pine Key, FL.; one son, Andrew Morris (Natalee) of Ft. Myers, FL; three brother-in-laws, Larry Morris (Gloria) of Lubeck, W.Va., Butch Morris (Millie) of Parkersburg and Rick Morris (Joyce) of Washington Bottom, W.Va.; six grandchildren, Mandy Morris, Steele Falcon, Chazz Falcon, Devon, Dylan and Hollie Morris. In addition to her parents Jeanie was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin P. Morris. At Jeanie's request there will be no public visitation or services.
