Jean Amos Domer, Sr., 78, of Vienna, WV, passed away August 22, 2017 at Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born May 29, 1939 in Indianapolis, Indiana, a son of the late Samuel M. and Dorothy Mae Amos Domer. He was in the U.S. Army where he was a corporal who served in the Korean conflict. He retired as an asbestos worker for Local #53 of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He was a former Deputy Sheriff and Bondsman in Florida. He was a member and elder of the Shawnee Appalachian Native American Indian Tribe. Mr. Domer is survived by five daughters, Orva Ladd (Oliver) of Maine, Lola Derosier (Larry) of Bordentown, NJ, Debra Domer of Maine, Ceadora Bowman of Given, WV and Jessica Domer of Florida; two sons; Jean Amos Domer, Jr. of Colorado and Robert Domer (Amanda) of Ripley, WV; several brothers and sisters and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Julie Domer Cuff. At his request there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
