Janette Louise Jones

Janette Louise Jones, 82, of Parkersburg passed away December 5, 2018 at The Willows Center. She was born January 2, 1936 in Wood County, WV daughter of the late Harold S. and Dortha L. Burgy McKee. She was a 1954 graduate of PHS and retired from Verizon as a telephone operator after 15 years of service. Janette is survived by a daughter, Tammy Huxley of Parkersburg; two sons, David L. Jones of Belpre, OH and Anthony J. Jones (Beth) of Richmond, VA; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Jones; one daughter, Christie Johnson; and one son, Robert J. Jones. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, December 10, 2018 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg with Pastor David Carrico officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 pm. to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
