Janet Sue "Wendy" Mcdonald

Janet Sue “Wendy” McDonald, 73 of Belleville, WV passed away unexpectedly July 15, 2018. She was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia January 29, 1945 to the late Harvey Clay Powell and Edna Butcher Powell. She was the granddaughter of the late Cleveland H. and Stella Powell and Edwin and Ethel Butcher. Wendy is survived by her husband of 43 years, Lloyd C. McDonald; son, Ron McDonald (Kelly) of Front Royal, VA; daughters, Lisa Cross and Tina Kocher (Alex) of Coolville, OH; her brother, Carl Powell (Mary) of Parkersburg; seven grandchildren, Tiffany, Katie, Ashley, Taylor, Tyler (Pam), Megan and Tressa (Levi); and two great grandchildren, Lena and Abel. She is also survived by many special nieces and nephews and many special friends, neighbors and extended family. She will be missed by her furry friends Boots and Gator. In addition to her parents and grandparents, Wendy was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law Clark and Molly Powell. Wendy was a homemaker who loved her animals, family and friends and never met a stranger. Her absence will leave a hole in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg. Interment will follow at the Evergreen South Cemetery. Visitation from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday and one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
