Shuman, 68 of Vienna, W.Va. went home to be with the Lord Sept. 14, 2010 at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.She was born March 31, 1942 in Parkersburg, W.Va. a daughter of the late Ira and Jessie Defebaugh Grewell.She graduated from Parkersburg High School with the Class of 1960. She was a volunteer with The Good Samaritan Center and Meals for One, and was a charter member of New Hope Baptist Church where she served as a Deaconess. She worked various retail jobs and was a homemaker.Janet is survived by her husband, Terry Shuman; one daughter, Debbie Blair (Bryan) of Washington, W.Va.; one son, Patrick Beall (Sue) of Vienna, W.Va.; one brother, Walter Grewell (Edie) of Vienna, W.Va.; and six grandchildren.Funeral services for Janet will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, Sept. 17, 2010 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna, W.Va. with Pastor Tom Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in Parkersburg Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
