Janet Louise Barret

Janet Louise Barrett, 50, of Vienna, passed away October 25, 2019 at her residence. She was born October 3, 1969 in Parkersburg, a daughter of Betty Jean McMillan Barrett and the late Edwin Paul Barrett. In addition to her mother, those left to cherish her memory are her two sisters, Laura Merritt (Joel) and Jennifer Ridenhour; a brother, David Barrett (Jan); several nieces and nephews; along with a host of other relatives and friends. Janet was a graduate of PHS and WVU where she majored in education. She was a teacher for Wood County Schools and also RESA 5 of Parkersburg. She struggled with illness for several years which lead to her retirement. An avid cat lover she was involved with several cat rescue groups. At Janet’s request, there will be no visitation or services. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Crematory, 3005 Grand Central Ave, Vienna, WV.
