James Allen Williams

James Allen Williams, 69, formerly of Sandusky and Belpre, Ohio passed away June 28, 2017 at The Arbors of Marietta. He was born April 8, 1948 in Lakewood, Ohio, a son of Helen Hussion Williams of Marietta and the late James Austin Williams. Jim was a 1966 graduate of Parkersburg Catholic High School. He was employed by the railroad in transportation. He was an avid golfer, and a big fan of The Ohio State University athletics. Jim was a friend of Bill W. In addition to his Mother, Jim is survived by his daughter Sarah Defrense of Huron, Ohio; three grandchildren, Aaden, Noah, and Brantley; one sister Suzanne Swords, of Belpre and one brother John Williams (Patty) of Parkersburg, WV; and several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation or service at this time, however a memorial service is being planned for a later date.
