James Robert Wilcoxen

James Robert Wilcoxen, 72, of Belpre, Ohio was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011.He was born April 16, 1938 in Belpre, Ohio the son of the late Ben and Maudie Wilcoxen.He resided in Belpre his entire life except for the 20 years he served in the U.S. Air Force.After retirement from the service, he worked for the City of BelpreWater Department for 27 years.He is survived by his three daughters, Maudie Wilcoxen-Barbee and husband, Andy, Melinda Pierce and husband, Henry, and Tina Sargeant; and his six grandchildren, John, James, Joshua, Sara, Matt and Jarrett.A celebration of life gathering will be held from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18, 2011 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 1305 Washington Boulevard, Belpre, Ohio.For those considering an expression of sympathy, donations, in lieu of flowers, can be made to the family in care of the funeral home to help defray unexpected funeral expenses.
