James K. Tressler

James K. Tressler, 94, of Belpre, Ohio, passed away at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital, August 23, 2016. He was born February 28, 1922, a son of the late John B. and Maude Orndorff Tressler in Connellsville, PA. James served his country in the U.S. Army during WW II. He was an avid camper and enjoyed fishing, girls softball, and was a Pittsburg Pirates fan. He was employed at Diamond Glass Factory, in Vienna, W.Va. as a supervisor. He is survived by daughter, Janet Watkins, of Belpre; son, James Tressler, Jr., of Mineral Wells, W.Va.; grandson, Kenny Watkins and his wife, Brooke; and great-grandchildren, Cody, Lexi, and Gunner. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his wife, Helen J. Tressler and sisters’ June and Peg. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 26, 2016 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 1305 Washington Boulevard, Belpre, Ohio, followed by internment at Evergreen Cemetery on State Route 339 in Belpre. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 25, 2016 at the funeral home.
