James Joseph Mcelfresh

James Joseph McElfresh, 77 of Davisville, W.Va. passed away Nov. 28, 2016 at his residence. He was born Feb. 28, 1939 in Parkersburg, W.Va., son of the late Howard McElfresh and Mary Desta Beall Phares. He served in the U.S. Navy and worked at Kardex Systems of Marietta. He also worked as a truck driver for Parkersburg Delivery Service and Marietta Automotive Warehouse. James enjoyed fishing. James is survived by his wife of 50 years, Patty Eddy McElfresh; three daughters, Diana Freshour (Michael), Paula McElfresh (Michael) Sindledecker and Melissa Kinnaird (Thomas) all of Parkersburg; ten grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, 2016 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg with Pastor Randall Fusion officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Presbyterian Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
