James Wade “Jim” “Lammy” Lambert, 80 of Belpre, Ohio passed away May 17, 2018 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born August 28, 1937, in Wood County, West Virginia to the late Jack and Marie Knisley Lambert. James was a 1956 graduate of Parkersburg High School. He retired after 30 years from Century Aluminum and was a member of the Steel Workers Ravenswood Local. He enjoyed fishing and traveling and was a member of Rockland United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Helen Goff Lambert; his children, Christopher Allan Lambert (Noel), Michael Arnold Lambert, Joy Lynn Lambert and James Lee Lambert all of Parkersburg; step-children, Gary Nichols of Ritchie County, Allen Nichols of Parkersburg, and Cathy Chadock (Steve) of Dallison, WV; and three grandchildren, Dakota Lambert, Tyler and Allison Chadock. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Jackie Turner. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 19, 2017 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 1305 Washington Boulevard, Belpre, Ohio with Pastor James Condrey officiating. Burial will follow at the Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be on Friday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.lamberttatman.com.
