James Tracy Kelley

James T. Kelley, age 82 of Vienna, WV passed away Friday, December 20, 2024, at the Camden Clark Medical Center.
He was born July 28, 1942, in Sistersville, WV, a son of the late Earl S. and Mryle Z. Tracy Kelley. James was a retired Industrial Arts schoolteacher, having worked for over 30 years for Wood County School Systems. His working career included teaching at the Williamstown High School, Blennerhassett Junior High School and Jackson Middle School. He was a member of the 36th Street Church of Christ and enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and woodworking.
James is survived by his two children, Janet E. Labas (John) of Fleming Island, FL and Jason P. Kelley of Chester, VA; grandchildren, Elizabeth Rice (John), Anthony Labas (Chloe), Joseph Labas, Ashlyn Brent (Nathan) and Ethan Kelley and great-granddaughter, Emily Labas.
In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly J. Kelley and three brothers, Donald, Richard and Herbert Kelley.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm Friday, December 27, 2024, at the 36th Street Church of Christ, Vienna. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm on Friday at the church with Mark Mason officiating. Interment will be on Saturday, December 28, at 1:00 pm at the Greenwood Cemetery, Tyler County, WV.
