James Anthony 'Junior' Joseph, age 86 of Washington, W.Va. passed away August 23, 2013 at the Arbors of Marietta, Ohio.He was born February 8, 1927 at Wheeling, W.Va., a son of the late James A., Sr. and Alice Joseph. Junior was a U.S. Army veteran, had worked at and owned several area restaurants, loved watching football and golf on television, was an avid WVU football fan and was a Catholic by faith.He is survived by one son, James A. 'Butch' Joseph, III and his wife, 'Vonda' of Washington, W.Va.; a brother Donald Joseph and his wife, Kathy of Tampa Fl.; and one niece, Monica Singleton of Parkersburg, W.Va.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Laura J. Taylor Joseph; and one sister, Ramona Singleton.The family wishes to thank the ACU Unit at Camden Clark Hospital and the Arbors of Marietta for their wonderful care.Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St., Parkersburg, W.Va. with Father John Rice officiating. Burial will follow at the Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery, Parkersburg. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
