Date and Time of Service: 11AM – Saturday, November 27, 2010 – St. Francis Xavier Catholic Churchposted 11/22/2010 at 4:02:08 PMJames Michael Jackson, 64, of Parkersburg, W.Va., passed away Saturday, November 20, 2010, at his residence.He was born May 23, 1946, in Parkersburg, W.Va., a son of the late Dean T. and Grace Mayfield Jackson.An active member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Mike spent his entire adult career in Real Estate starting out working for his grandfather and fathers firm in Parkersburg (Jackson Realty). In 1979 he moved to St. Petersburg, FL, and joined his brother Jon�s firm (Gateway Realty), and then later moved back to Parkersburg to join Remax Realty, Properties of the Valley, where he worked until his passing.Mike is survived by his brothers, Steve Jackson of Vienna, W.Va., Rod Jackson of Bradenton, FL, and Tom Jackson of Columbia, S.C.; his nephews, Robbie, Stevie, Ryan, and Ben Jackson; his nieces, Cheryl Ferriolo, Jane Sutton, Laura Murphy, Sarah Somers, and Christy Rivers; and also several great-nieces and great-nephews.In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by one brother, Jon Dean Jackson; and a sister-in-law, Susie Lincicome Jackson.Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00AM Saturday on November 27, 2010, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-9PM on Friday November 26, 2010, at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St., Parkersburg, W.Va.Mike�s pallbearers will be his nephews and great-nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be members of his coffee club.Memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Mike�s honor.
