James Harold Hamrick

James H. Hamrick, 69, of Waterford, OH, departed this life August 12, 2018 as a result of an automobile accident. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold “June” Hamrick and JoAnn (Rhodes) Hamrick. He is survived by a brother, three sisters, and several nieces and nephews. Jim had been employed as a Union Iron Worker, B&O Railroad Brakeman, and as an Independent Truck Owner and Operator. He also serviced barges on the Ohio River by supplying groceries on their runs to and from Pittsburgh. He was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the US Marine Corp. There will be a short memorial service for friends and family at Point Park, Parkersburg, WV on Friday, August 31st at 1:00 p.m.
