James Michael Frazier

James Michael “Mike” Frazier, 74, of Washington, WV, passed away on March 31, 2026 of dementia-related complications.

Mike was born in Parkersburg, WV on September 9, 1951. He attended Parkersburg South High School, where he met his beloved wife, Joyce. He worked as an accountant for many years at Wood County Federal Credit Union. After retirement, he enjoyed welding airplane fuselages and watching the local wildlife.

He is survived by his daughter Heather Frazier and her husband Manny; son, Erik Frazier and his wife Holly; nephew, John Galici; granddaughter, Clara; grandsons, Hunter and Cooper; aunt and uncle, Norma “Jean” and Karl Mantz; and his best friend since childhood, Randy Simmons.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Joyce Ann Sarver Frazier; mother, Audrey Eleanor Harper Frazier; father, James Sherman Frazier; sisters, Carolyn and Janet; niece, Jill; and nephews, Troy and David.

A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Shiloh Cemetery with Pastor Don Yeager officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Hospice Foundation of America.
