James Albert Duncan, 55, of Parkersburg, passed away on Friday, August 24, 2018 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born March 30, 1963, in Hopkinsville, KY, a son of Janice Kinnaird Ashworth of Mason, WV and the late James Duncan Sr. James was a graduate of Wahama High School in Mason County, WV. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, an avid motorcycle rider and a Probate member of the U.S. Military Vets Motorcycle Club WV 4 Odinsons. In addition to his mom, he is survived by his fiancé, Kelley Tice of Parkersburg; one daughter, Tiffany Powell (John) of Mineral Wells; step-son, Nathan (Stephanie) Moss of Syracuse, OH; two sisters, Stacy Sparks (Terry) of New Haven, WV and Pam Bean (Todd) of Parkersburg; one brother, Mark Duncan of Mason, WV; four grandchildren, Brylyn Tice, Trenton Powell, Noah Powell and Brayden Moss; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, James was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Joe and Bessie Kinnaird; and his paternal grandparents, Dale and Delphia Duncan. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg with Reverend James Plyburn officiating. Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
