James Barron Wilson

James Barron Wilson, 83, of Washington, WV, passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at his residence. He was born August 3, 1934, in Zion, MO, son of the late Leasure Ferl and Louia B. Wright Wilson. James retired from DuPont after 37 years. Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved the outdoors. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, D. Grace Heiney Wilson; daughters, Mary (Greg) Moeck of Alabama and Connie (Steve) Moeck of Rockport, WV; son, Gary Wilson of Parkersburg; sister, Betty Ann (Benson) Robbins of Arkansas; six grandchildren, Angie, Krissy, Steve Jr., Josh, Jeremy and Jimmy; 12 great-grandchildren; In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his two brothers, William Earl and Robert Blaine Wilson; and an infant son, Jimmy. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 8, 2018 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg with Pastor Kenny Heiney officiating. Interment will follow at Betts Cemetery in Grantsville, WV; visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
