Jacqueline S. Lauer

Jacqueline S. Lauer, 69, of Cutler, OH, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Friday, October 17, 2025. She was born May 12, 1956 in Montgomery, WV to the late Douglas and Betty Mattox Riffle.

Jacqueline loved life and enjoyed spending her time with her family. She worked in the nursing field at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

Left to carry her memory include her children, Heather Winland of Cutler, Carolyn Perine (Gene) also of Cutler, Donald Lauer of San Antonio, TX, Judy Nicholson of OH, and Cheryl Mowery of Belpre, OH; her brother, Robert Riffle (Lois) of TX; ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and two nephews, Jason Riffle (Erin) of KY and Scott Riffle (Lily) of TX.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, William H. Lauer; and her brother, Charles Riffle.

A celebration of Jacqueline’s life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
