Jacquelin Ann Ridenour-Longmire, 85 of Vienna, W.Va. passed away July 21, 2014 after a sudden illness. She was born April 3, 1929 in Mineral County, W.Va. daughter of the late John Amos Ridenour and Margaret Amelia Baum Ridenour. When she was 15 she roller skated and danced at the Coliseum. She was a telephone operator in Vienna. She worked for Joe Joseph for the Jur Theatre Circuit and was a dental assistant for Dr. Wilson and Dr. Braden Nida. She worked for Sears, Thrift Drug Store and was a top seller for Avon Cosmetics. But most of all she was a loving homemaker. She and her husband, Wayne with family and friends enjoyed many happy years boating on the Ohio River.Jacquelin is survived by two daughters, Chriss Wilson (Bruce) of Parkersburg, W.Va. and Jenny Knotts (Michael) of Vienna, W.Va.; two sons, Joe Longmire and John Longmire both of Parkersburg, W.Va.; six grandchildren, Terra, Jason, Crystal, Katherine, Matthew, and Natasha; five great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Rose Longmire of Vienna; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, Wayne Longmire; a brother, Harold Wetherall; and a sister, Esther Carpenter.A Celebration of Life for Jacquelin will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 27, 2014 at Christ Lutheran Church at 46th & Grand Central Ave. in Vienna, W.Va. with Pastor Emilie Rowlands officiating. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
