Jemima Sue Jarvis 71, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away in Columbus, Ohio on November 10, 2014. She was born February 14, 1943 in Emmitt, W.Va., a daughter of the late George Harrison Jarvis and Nancy Music Williamson.Sue was self employed as owner of a retail store “A-Z Bookstore”.She is survived by her friend and companion, Mikki Buck; two daughters, Bobbie Montgomery of Columbus, Ohio, and Jemima Suzette Williams of Parkersburg; two sons, Garrett Pittenger of Columbus, Ohio and Joe Pittenger of Hilliard, Ohio;sisters, Margaret Rodriguez of Staten Island, NY and Fayette Stone of Handon, Ohio; one brother, Tom Jarvis of Lima, Ohio; grandchildren, Jemima Jay John, Amy Povemba, Freda Sams, Tommy Crowther, Angla Messick, J.J. Pittenger, Alyssa Francis, Alex Francis, Airel Francis, Aiden Pittenger; and several great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Garrett Williams; one daughter, Christina Williams; two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Murray and JoAnn Savage; seven brothers, Bill, Timothy, Johnny, Vernon, Don and Roger Jarvis and Douglas StoneFuneral services for Sue will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg, W.Va., with Pastor Jim Lynch officiating. Burial will be at approximately 2:00 p.m. at Ridgewood Cemetery, 203 E. Broadway St., Wellston, Ohio.Visitation will be on Friday at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and one hour before the service on Saturday.
