Irene Pearl Mcpherson

Irene P. (Wineman) McPherson, 90, of Vienna, passed away February 18, 2020 at Worthington Healthcare Center. She was born November 13, 1929 in Follensbee, WV, the daughter of the late Mirl and Audra (Northcraft) Barnhart. Irene was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting, traveling, shopping, playing cards and loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of the Pine Grove Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters; Nancy Jean (Gary) Williams of Parkersburg and Tamra L. (Steven E.) Geibel of Parkersburg; twelve grandchildren; eight step children; many great-grandchildren and two great-great grandsons. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Arthur Gene Wineman and her second husband, Elza McPherson; a son, Gary E. Wineman and a great-grandson, Tristen Knight. Funeral services for Irene will be at 11:00 A.M. Friday, February 21, 2020 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna, with Pastor Chuck Ferrell officiating. Burial will follow the service at Evergreen North Cemetery, Parkersburg. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Humane Society of Parkersburg, 530 29th. St. Parkersburg, WV. 26101.
