Ira Dale Hyde

Ira Dale Hyde, 74 of Belpre, Ohio passed away Feb. 2, 2015 at his residence.He was born April 30, 1940 in Parkersburg, W.Va., son of the late Ira Blair and Cloe Christine Hosaflook Hyde. He had worked as a boilermaker for the Viscose in Parkersburg and served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed listening to Bluegrass music and especially enjoyed Sunday morning breakfasts with his family. He was an active member of the Masonic Lodge while living in Florida.Dale is survived by six children, Jerry Redding and Ira Hyde both of Parkersburg, Lyda Robertson of Phoenix, AR, Lydia Mead of Herford AR, Margie Cline of Belpre, OH and Tina Verwer of Phoenix, AR;two brothers, Gary Hyde of Florida and Vicktor Hyde of Marietta, OH; 18 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Sherman Hyde; three brothers, Virgil Hyde, Bill Hyde and Arden Hyde; and one sister, Joan Dotson Hyde.There will be no visitation or service. Memorial inurnment will be at the convenience of the family. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Crematory, 400 Green St. Parkersburg, W.Va. is assisting the family with arrangements.
