Iona “Fay” Carpiaux 71, of Little Hocking, Ohio passed away Friday, June 13, 2014 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.She was born February 5, 1943 in Washington County, Ohio a daughter of the late Earl Ervin Best and Erma M. Martin Best.Fay was a homemaker who loved spending time with her family and enjoyed quilting and playing Hay Day.She is survived by her husband, Pascal Carpiaux of Nevada; four daughters, Carla Knapp, of Walker W.Va., Emma Kelly of New Martinsville, W.Va., Terri Weihl, and Tonia Reed, both of Little Hocking Ohio; one son, Joseph Reed II, of Martinsburg, W.;a. two sisters, Chloeva Theis and Mary Grosklos, both of Devola, Ohio; two brothers, William Best and Dale Best both of Marietta, Ohio; eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and their beloved dog Cage. In addition to her parents Fay was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Best; and a grandson, Gene Weihl III.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 1305 Washington Blvd. Belpre, Ohio with Pastor Mick Frye officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Belpre, Ohio. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
