Inez Mae Blankenship 93, passed away at her daughter's in Cairo, W.Va. on Thursday, January 24, 2013.She was born November 11, 1919 in Groundhog, Wirt County, West Virginia, the daughter of Elza and Blanche Williams Lackhart.Inez was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George Blankenship; her son, Larry Marlin and Larry's son, “Little James”; her granddaughter, Pamela Wilson Wilkes; great-great grandson, Little Eddie; also one sister, Beatrice Cheuvront; and three brothers, Lester, Paul and Vestal Lockhart.She is survived by two sisters, Carol (Bob) Zinhizer of Ben, Oregon and Helen (Thomas) Bales of Vienna, W.Va.; three brothers, Olin (Lethea) Lockhart of East Sparta, Ohio, Roland (Addie) Lockhart of Sandyville, W.Va., and Ray (Leah) Lockhart of Southington, Ohio; two daughters, Deborah Holskey of Cairo, W.Va., and Barbara Wilson of Waverly, W.Va.; 12 grandchldren; 25 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.She was employed by the Viscoes Corp., the G.C. Murphy where she worked the candy counter, and J.C. Penney's. She was a longtime member of the Pine Grove Baptist Church.Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna, W.Va. with the Reverend Calvin (Chuck) Ferrell presiding. Burial will follow after the service at Riverview Cemetery, Williamstown, W.Va. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
