Pauline Hunt, 88 formerly of Mineral Wells, W.Va., went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at the Willows Center.She was born September 3, 1926, in Mineral Wells, a daughter of the late William and Carrie Province Hoffman.She was a homemaker and formerly worked at the Wood County Clerks office. She was an avid tole painter and seamstress. She was a member of the Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church in Mineral Wells.Pauline is survived by her husband, Ural Hunt whom she married November 22, 1945,. Also surviving are her five children, Connie Valentine (Mike) of Cape Coral, Florida, Carolyn Litton (Rich) of Cape Coral, Florida, Ken Hunt (Phyllis) of Ravenswood, W.Va., Kay Perkins (Bobby) of Parkersburg, W.Va. and Tammy Garner (James) of Cape Coral, Florida; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Irene Lockhart; one brother, Wayne Hoffman; and one granddaughter, Lydia Sue Valentine.Funeral services for Pauline will be 3:00 p.m., Sunday, March 8, 2015 at the Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church in Mineral Wells with Pastor Kevin Lantz officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Saturday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, south Parkersburg and one hour prior to the services at the church.
