Ian Scott Gates

Ian Scott Gates, 27, of Parkersburg, passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2020. He was born May 13, 1992, in Parkersburg, a son of Julie Renae Bibbee Moore. Ian was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his children and his mother. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his three children, Ayden Gates, Raeleigh Keel and Kayzien Keel; two sisters, Katelyne Gayheart (Bert) of Mineral Wells and Trinity Naylor of Parkersburg; girlfriend, Kylee Keel; and several aunts, uncles, other family members and friends. Ian was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mike and Mary Allen; and his aunt, Brandi Bibbee. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg with Pastor David Carrico officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Williamstown, WV. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm on Friday and one hour prior to services on Saturday at the funeral home.
