Howard Oris Whited

Howard“Whitey”Whited, 88, of Vienna passed away June 24, 2015 at his residence.He was born in Wood County, March 7, 1927, the son of the late Wells W. and Corda M. Baker Whited. Whitey retired from Johns Manville in maintenance and was an Army veteran of WWII. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church of Vienna.He is survived by three daughters; Sandra Whited of Vienna, Regina Conger (Gary) and Debra Brake both of Parkersburg; one son, Howard Wayne Whited of Vienna; five grandchildren, nine great- grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian L. Hopkins Whited, son, Lawrence R. Whited, one sister and two brothers.Funeral services for Whitey will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave., Vienna with Pastor Scott Kapple officiating, burial will follow the service at Evergreen North Cemetery, Parkersburg.
