Date and Time of Service: Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010posted 9/2/2010 at 3:31:17 PMHoward R. “Roger” Riffle, 79 of Orrville, Ohio passed away Sept. 1, 2010 at his residence.He was born June 8, 1931 in Vienna, W.Va., a son of the late Charles Rex and Orpha White Riffle. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, a retired Pipefitter and a member of the Church of Christ.Roger is survived by eight children, Robin Roush of Ravenswood, W.Va., Jo Hanna Riffle of Parkersburg, W.Va., Christopher Riffle of Minot, N. Dakota, James Riffle of Waverly, W.Va., Debbie Radabaugh of Salem, W.Va., Cassie Matheny of Mt. Clare, W.Va., David Reaser, and Karen Harper both of Cairo, W.Va.; one brother, Harold Riffle (Penny) of Orrville, Ohio; 21 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters, Betty Lou Deem, Rosemarie Riffle, and Wilma Jean Riffle.Services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday Sept. 4, 2010 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg, WV. Burial will be at Evergreen North Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Full military rites will be conducted by American Legion Post 15 Parkersburg.
