Dulin, 81, of Parkersburg, W.Va., was greeted by angels and went home to be with our Heavenly Father on October 9, 2010, at her granddaughter's residence in Vienna, W.Va., following an extended illness.She was born August 30, 1929, at Melon, Ritchie Co., W.Va., a daughter of the late Willis R. and Flora E. Cooper Pierson.Hilda was a homemaker and was also employed as a seamstress and later retired from the Mister Bee Potato Chip Co. She enjoyed cooking, jewelry making, quilting, and was an animal lover. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Southside Southern Baptist Church.Surviving is one daughter, Janet Roberts (Ron) of Davisville, W.Va.; one son, Lee Dulin (Samantha) of Parkersburg, W.Va.; four sisters, Mary Reynolds, Iwana Prislac, Ora Yonley, and Carolyn Shaffer; four brothers, Warren, Hollie, Everett, and Larry Pierson; three grandchildren, DeAnna Finnicum of Vienna, W.Va., Ronald “Ronnie” Roberts II (Gina) of Parkersburg, W.Va., and Teresa Moore (Dennis) of Vienna, W.Va.; eight great-grandchildren, Zachary, Gage, Josilin Moore, and also a baby boy Moore due this March, Austin Patterson, Jordan Lee, Kevin and Thomas Finnicum; and the family's beloved animals whom Hilda adored, Taz, Callie, Molie, Bella, Sweet Pea, and Zoey.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harlan K. “Jiggs” Dulin, who passed away on Feb. 7, 1983; one sister, Juanita Berry; and two brothers, Virgil and Jesse Pierson.Funeral services will be conducted at 1PM Wednesday, October 13, 2010, at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave., Vienna, with Pastor Steve Foster, Pastor Paul Drake, and Pastor Ron Roberts officiating. Services will conclude with an outdoor dove release at the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM on Tuesday, October 12, 2010, and from 11AM until time of services on Wednesday at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Amedysis Hospice or in care of the family trust fund that has been set up for Hilda's great-grandchildren. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
