Herbert E. Claypool

Herbert Eugene Claypool “Herb”, 56 of Parkersburg formerly of Arvilla, W.Va. passed away August 27, 2016 peacefully at his home in Rockport, W.Va. He was born October 6, 1959 in Parkersburg, the son of the late Betty Lou McIntyre Claypool and Leroy Claypool, Sr. Herb loved his three girls and grandbabies. He loved to explore the outdoors and share what nature provides with his grandbabies. He was known for his sign paintings and his artistic abilities. Herb is survived by three daughters, Tianna Claypool ( Thomas) of Belmont, W.Va., Candace Claypool (Joey) of Grafton,W.Va., Sasha Canfield (Chad) of Rockport and their mother, Tammy Williams (Rod); grandbabies,Terra, Cammie and Shelby Cochran, Jacob Metz, Jocelynn and Jasper Cupp, Brailey, Bryson, Zailyn and Zyren Canfield; three brothers, Leroy Claypool (Dreama) of Leon, Bob Claypool (Hennda) of Washington, and Charlie Claypool of Morgantown; six sisters, Hope Means ( Joey) of Parkersburg, Tammy Piggott (Jerry) of Parkersburg, Donna Bock (Tim) of MW, Nancy Claypool of Lubeck, Rachel Bailey (Steve) of Lubeck, Mary Claypool of Parkersburg and Uncle Bob McIntyre plus numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday August 31, 2016 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike Street, Parkersburg, WV with Pastor Everett Snyder officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
