Henry Cornelius Hawk

August 25, 1951 — March 28, 2024

Henry Cornelius Hawk, 72, of Parkersburg passed away Thursday, March 28, 2024 at the Elizabeth Care Center. He was born August 25, 1951 to the late Donald and Arlene Eckard Hawk.

He was an animal lover, and especially loved his dog. Henry enjoyed doing carpentry in his spare time and loved all things outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.

Henry leaves behind to cherish his memory, his daughter, Michele V. Slingerland (David); his sister, Ruth Garr (Dean); his two brothers, Harrison and Daniel Hawk (Sherry); his grandchildren, Kayla Hays and Ryan Slingerland; great-grandson, Emmett Hays; step-children, Billy O’Neill, Lisa Hawk, Neal O’Neill, and Mike O’Neill; and step- grandchildren, Josh Hawk, Benjamin Hawk, and Melissa Hawk.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Donald Hawk Jr.

At Henry’s request, there will be no services at this time.
