Henry P. Allen

Henry Preston Allen, 74, of Parkersburg, passed away on July 10, 2017 at Worthington Health Care Center. He was born February 17, 1943. Henry worked at Golf Club of West Virginia. He was a US. Marine Veteran, and was in the National Guard Reserves. He was also an avid outdoorsman. He is survived by his siblings, half brother, Leroy Adams, half sister, Kathy Adams, half sister, Kim Adams, half sister, Cindy Adams, step brother, Bob Adams, and step brother, Richard Adams; his children, Robert Allen (Wanda) of Rogers Arkansas, Lisa Charles (Gordon) of Greenville, SC, Michael Allen and Yvonne Bauldridge both of Parkersburg; grandchildren, Diedra Maxson (John) of Parkersburg, Joshua Allen of Springdale, AR, Tiffany Rowland of Rogers, AR, Nicole Charles, Gordon Charles, George Charles all of Greenville, SC; and fifteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mom, Agnes Allen Ewing; dad, Albert Allen; Wife, Mary Ann Allen; son, Jude Bauldridge; daughter, Melissa Allen; grandson, Adam Charles; and brother, William Allen. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on July 14, 2017 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., south Parkersburg with Pastor Ron Hendershot officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
